Hi, my name is Lukas,

I’m a freeride skier from Hall in Tyrol. As I grew up in the mountains my parents took me skiing when I was just 3 years old. The local resorts became a playground and all I wanted was to play with my friends while skiing through the trees. Nowadays this is still what I love. The rush of adrenalin, floating through fresh snow and just being free. That’s why I chose to find my way to the Freeride Worldtour and compete at OpenFace Qualifiers. When I first discovered Skimont, I fell in love with their philosophy of Skiing and how they are doing things, so I applied to become the first Skimont Freeride Team member.

To ride the freshest lines, you often need to hike. At my first spin with the BlackbirdPro I knew this is a perfect match. It’s super light, durable and extremely stable which is the perfect combination for athletes and freeride junkys like me. 

I already rode a contest last season in Alpbach. Well, it didn’t work out as planned but it still was hell of a great experience to get a taste of the Freeride Competition Vibe.

I am very happy to be part of this great team and ski these beauties.
